In this study we aimed to investigate the disparities in terminology research between the domestic and international do-mains.Utilizing data from CNKI(854 articles)and the journal Terminology(216 articles),we employed the tool CiteSpace to con-duct a comparative analysis of terminology research themes over the past two decades from the keyword perspective.The research re-vealed that the domestic terminology study are more focused on term translation,while foreign research leaned towards term extrac-tion.Based on the above distinction,a corpus analysis tool,Antconc,was utilized to search and analyze terms such as"term transla-tion"/"terminology translation"and"terminology automatic extraction"in abstracts of these papers,allowing for a more nuanced ex-ploration of the differences.This study contributes to enriching the discussion of terminology research topics and promoting a compara-tive analysis of terminology research at the national and international levels.
