Due to internal faults in transformer windings,high voltages and currents can be generated in the windings,seriously affecting the stability of surrounding power equipment and systems.In order to achieve comprehensive detec-tion of transformer windings,timely eliminate detected faults,and ensure that the voltage and current do not exceed normal values,a transformer winding detection method based on dynamic deflection of phased array acoustic beams is proposed on the basis of phased array technology.By controlling the trigger time of each array element in the phased ar-ray,the inspection of transformer windings is completed,and the efficiency of ultrasonic testing of windings is im-proved.Using the phased array acoustic beam deflection excitation method,a phased array acoustic beam dynamic de-flection detection system is designed.The system can scan the windings in the area to be inspected linearly,confirm the signals perpendicular to the tangential direction of the winding,and convert coordinate data to form a three-dimen-sional outline drawing of the winding.Experimental results show that the proposed method is fast in detecting the defor-mation of oil immersed transformer windings,and the actual error is less than 5%.
