Analytical Solution of Stress and Deformation of Underlying Tunnel Caused by Adjacent Surcharge
The redistribution of soil stress and strain caused by adjacent surcharge will adversely affect the existing tunnel. In view of this, the existing tunnel is simplified as an infinite beam and placed on a three-parameter Kerr foun-dation model. The analytical solution of the longitudinal deformation of the underlying existing tunnel is obtained by solving the equation based on the boundary of the tunnel. The existing engineering parameters are substituted into this method, and it is found that the calculation results of this method are in line with the field monitoring data, and are closer to the monitoring values than the degradation analysis of this method. Then the parameter analysis is carried out:the increase in tunnel diameter and surcharge will cause the increase of deformation and bending moment of the tunnel. The increase of tunnel stiffness will cause a decrease of tunnel deformation and an increase of tunnel bending moment.
