Application of CRISPR-Cas System for Genetic Detection of Foodborne Pathogenic Bacteria
In this paper, based on the CRISPR-Cas system,we constructed a gene detection model for foodborne pathogens. The guide RNA sequences in the Cas protein genes were identified using gene coding metrics, and the main gene features in them were extracted and categorized. On this basis, gene expression and molecular diagnostic techniques were used to analyze the variability of gene expression data and the probability of genus distribution based on the sequence features, respectively. The results show that the detection of target genes and pathogenic bacteria is achieved by designing specifically recognized guide RNAs and analysis of differential gene expression. This method pro-vides an accurate, reliable and efficient tool for genetic detection of foodborne pathogens.
