Grey Correlation Degree Analysis of Coarse Aggregate Morphological Characteristics and Compressive Strength of Water-stabilized Layer
In order to analyze the correlation between the shape characteristics of different coarse aggregates and the unconfined compressive strength of cement-stabilized crushed stone base, the correlation degree of 5 shape characteristics parameters of coarse aggregates on the unconfined compressive strength of cement-stabilized crushed stone base in practical engineering was studied by combining the results of laboratory tests and the theory of grey comprehensive correlation degree analysis. The results show that the axial coefficient of the coarse aggregate morphology has the greatest influence on the compressive strength of the water-stable layer, followed by roundness, angular parameters, roughness and convexity. The correlation between the convexity and the unconfined compressive strength of the water-stabilized layer remains relatively stable. In the range of three sizes, the larger the coarse aggregate size is,the higher the correlation degree between axial coefficient, roundness, angular parameters and roughness and the compressive strength of the water stable layer is.The research results of this paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
