Research on Coupling and Coordination of Urban Public Transportation and Digital Economy Development
The positive interaction between urban public transportation and the digital economy is of great significance for promoting urban development,enhancing economic benefits and improving residents'lives.Based on the coupling coordination degree model and Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition method,this paper explores the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics,spatial differences and sources of the coupling coordination between urban public transportation and digital economy in 31 provinces of China from 2011 to 2020.The results show that the coupling coordination degree of urban public transportation and digital economy in all provinces shows a steady increase;The provinces with a high degree of coupling coordination between urban public transportation and digital economy are mainly concentrated in the eastern coastal areas,followed by Sichuan,Chongqing,Shaanxi and other relatively developed economic areas;The overall spatial difference of the coupling coordination degree of urban public transportation and digital economy shows a downward trend.The main reason for the spatial difference is the large inter-regional difference in the coupling coordination degree of urban public transportation and digital economy in different regions.The inter-regional difference is the largest in eastern and western regions,and the smallest in central and western regions.
