Science and Technology Law,as a new subject with the development of science and technology,is an impor-tant part of China legal system.In the face of complex scientific and technological legal phenomena and relations,the orientation of scientific and technological law by department law,there will be logical difficulties in self-consistency,unable to adapt to the development of society and impede the research and development of scientific and technological law.As a research paradigm responding to emerging disciplines,field law is characterized by problem orientation and openness.Science and Technology Law fits the characteristics of field law,and its field law orientation can effectively respond to the field problems in the development of science and technology,break through the isolation of department law research,and promote the research of science and technology law as a whole.To perfect the system construction of science and technology law as field law,its basic requirements should be clarified,law on science and technology prog-ress should be established as basic law status,the special law in the field of science and technology should be improve,the relationship between Science and Technology Law and other science and technology law should be well connected,and tension of"division"and"merging"between the two should be kept.Thus,the hierarchy sequence of the internal and external coordination of the science and technology legal system is formed.At the same time,field law does not ne-gate the traditional department law.The field law including Science and Technology Law and department law consti-tute the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics.
