The Influence of Scientific Research Input on the New Quality Productive Forces of A-Share Listed Companies—Empirical Analysis Based on High-Tech Industry Data
[Research purpose]Under the background of the global scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, helping listed companies accelerate the formation of new quality productive forces that are adapted to social development through reasonable investment in scientific research funds is conducive to promoting the high-quality development of national economy.[Research method]Taking the listed companies of high-tech industries in China's A-share market from 2015 to 2022 as the research object,a new quality productive forces indicator system is constructed from three dimensions of sustainable development, labor and innovation. The entropy method is used for measurement, and an empirical model is constructed to deeply analyze the specific influence mechanism of scientific research input on new quality productive forces.[Research conclusion]First, the scientific research input of listed companies in the high-tech industry has significantly enhanced the level of new quality productive forces.Second, the results of the moderation effect show that the degree of market competition and the scale of enterprises can positively moderate the relationship between scientific research input and new quality productive forces.Third, heterogeneity test shows that, compared with non-state-owned enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises, research investment in state-owned enterprises and large enterprises has a more significant role in promoting the development of new quality productive forces. After a series of robustness tests, the conclusion still holds. Finally, countermeasure suggestions are put forward from three aspects:policy guidance and incentives, optimization of the market competition environment, and adjustment of enterprise strategies. This not only enriches the theoretical framework of new quality productive forces, but also has significant practical significance for guiding enterprises to optimize the structure of scientific research investment and improve new quality productive forces.
