Research Hotspots and Development Trends in Digital Rural Construction—Visual Analysis Based on CiteSpace
[Research purpose]In order to systematically analyze the development process of digital rural construction research, this paper reveals the hot topics and development trends of its research, and provides new ideas and basis for future scientific research.[Research method]Using CiteSpace visualization literature analysis software and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)as the data source, knowledge graphs such as keyword clustering, timeline graph, and keyword mutation were drawn to visually analyze literature related to digital rural construction in China from 2001 to 2023.[Research conclusion]From the overall trend, research on China's digital rural construction can be divided into three stages of initial-slow-active.From the perspective of research topics,it can be roughly reflected firstly in the main problems and causes faced by digital rural construction;secondly,it analyzes the difficulties of digital rural construction from four perspectives, policy, economy, technology, and talent, and providing suggestions;thirdly,it reveals the value of implementing the digital rural strategy;fourthly,it focuses on improving the spiritual quality of rural life. From the perspective of evolutionary trends, the emerging words in the research field in recent years are"rural economy"and"smart countryside",which should receive continuous attention in the future. In terms of research characteristics, there is obvious policy relevance.Currently, there are a wide range of research topics in China, with promoting digital development in rural areas as the main theme. However, there are still shortcomings such as delay, incomplete adaptation of research results to local conditions, and single research methods, which have certain limitations on the accumulation of research on digital rural areas.Based on the above analysis, future research should not only keep up with real-time policies, but also have foresight in research directions, fully considering regional development differences, focusing on promoting rural economic development, and strengthening the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods.
