On AIGC Ethical Dilemmas and Governance Strategies for News Media
[Research purpose]Artificial intelligence has a profound impact on news media.AIGC promotes human-machine collaborative production,reshapes the news gathering and editing process,and activates the new quality productive forces of the media.It explores that AIGC cannot completely replace human news production while improving news information productivity.Through effective artificial intelligence governance,we can create a safe,fair,transparent and humane intelligent social environment to ensure that while developing technology,the social ethics and public interests should be maintained.[Research method]This study adopts a research method that combines theoretical deduction with case analysis.Firstly,by using the theoretical deduction method,through combing and analyzing existing literature,a theoretical framework for the application of artificial intelligence in the field of news media is constructed,and from a macro perspective,how AIGC can collaborate with humans in news production is explored.Secondly,using the case analysis method,representative news organizations are selected as research objects,and in-depth analysis is conducted on how they use AIGC technology to improve news productivity,while revealing the ethical challenges it may bring.[Research conclusion]Artificial intelligence should follow ethical principles such as humanity,safety,fairness and transparency,formulating an ethical constraint framework,strengthening the ethics of AI service providers and media organizations,building a solid"digital guardrail"to prevent the possible harm caused by artificial intelligence,and creating a clean,harmonious and healthy intelligent society.
