Review and Prospect:A Literature Review on the Whole-process People's Democracy in China Since the 19th National Congress of the CPC
As a major innovation in the theory of socialist democratic politics,the whole-process of people's democracy has become a hot topic in current academic research.Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)in 2017,this research has mainly focused on the scientific connotation,basic characteristics,institutional composition,significant advantages,discourse system,discourse power,and epochal value of the whole-process of people's democracy,and has formed a series of fruitful academic achievements,enriched the Marxist democratic theory,enhanced the international discourse power of socialist democracy,and provided an analytical perspective for the pluralistic interpretation of democratic theory.However,there are still research limitations in that certain theoretical concepts need to be clarified,practical concerns are still insuffi-cient,and methodological perspectives need to be optimized.Therefore,the follow-up research should be based on the new connotation of people's democracy to continuously enrich theoretical problems,on the new journey of future development to gradually build a methodological system,on the new practice of Chinese democracy to comprehensively extend the perspective of observation,on the new vision of human civilization to expand the field of analysis,and on the new construction of democratic discourse to enhance discourse confidence.
