Research on the Influence of Factor Market Distortion on Agricultural Total Factor Productivity
Based on the original data from 2000 to 2021,this paper explores the impact of factor market distortions on agricultural total factor productivity.Factor market distortion was divided into capital, labor and land markets, and the fixed effect model and threshold regression model were used to explore the relationship a-mong factor market distortion, agricultural industry agglomeration and agricultural total factor productivity. The results show that factor market distortion inhibits agricultural total factor productivity, and agricultural industry agglomeration can significantly promote the improvement of agricultural total factor productivity.Threshold effect indicates that the inhibition effect of factor market distortion on agricultural total factor productivity will be re-versed when the degree of agricultural industry agglomeration is high, with significant regional heterogeneity.Based on the findings, suggestions are put forward as follows:policies should be made to guide the orderly flow of capital, labor and land factor markets;technological innovation be strengthened;agricultural industrial struc-ture be upgraded and optimized;and the integrated development of agricultural industry be promoted. Thus we will be able to foster the improvement of total factor productivity in agriculture.
