Optimization of Construction and Practical Exploration of Curriculum Quality Evaluation Mechanism at Local Colleges and Universities
The curriculum is the core element in talent cultivation and the quality of the curriculum directly determines the quality of talent cultivation.Therefore,in the reform of undergraduate education and teaching in colleges and universities,how to further improve the quality of the curriculum and enrich course resources has become a research-worthy topic.Based on the first-class standards for undergraduate curriculum proposed by the Ministry of Education in 2019 and aiming at solving such problems as the dislocation of evaluation object,in-complete evaluation links,insufficient evaluation improvement function and insufficient evaluation incentive func-tion in the curriculum construction and curriculum quality evaluation of local colleges and universities,this paper optimizes and constructs a new curriculum quality evaluation mechanism with the characteristics of"emphasizing new teaching concept,teaching process and teaching input"and establishes the corresponding curriculum quali-ty evaluation indicator system with expert consultation and analytic hierarchy process.The mechanism applies PDCA cycle to curriculum quality management,brings courses into the quality closed loop,and realizes the spiral improvement of curriculum quality through the continuous processing of four links of optimized design,organiza-tion and implementation,quality inspection and continuous improvement.In the quality circle inspection link,this study optimizes and constructs a comprehensive evaluation mechanism of course quality integrating teacher evaluation and student evaluation,focusing on the implementation of the new teaching concepts,the actual process of the course,the actual teaching input of the teacher,the actual learning input of the student and the like.By bringing each course into the quality management,the effect of improving the overall quality of the un-dergraduate curriculum of the university has been achieved.The implementation of the curriculum quality evalu-ation mechanism at K University has witnessed the overall improvement of the quality of the undergraduate cur-riculum,and the number of high-level courses has increased significantly.This mechanism has good reference value and significance for local colleges and universities.
