Comparative Analysis on Financial Aid Policies of Domestic and International Students Based on CiteSpace
Student financial aid is of great significance in promoting educational equity and achieving com-mon prosperity for all people.In-depth research on student financial aid policies will help improve student fi-nancial aid work.With the help of CiteSpace,the research conducted a visual and comparative analysis of the core literature in the field of student aid policy research at home and abroad from research status,research hotspots,and development trends.The research results showed that the volume of papers published abroad shows a fluctuating and rising trend and the domestic volume rises first and then declines;foreign research teams are more closely connected in terms of cooperation,and yet a broad cooperation network has not yet been formed in China;while both domestic and foreign research topics cover a wide range of educational equity,higher edu-cation and policy evaluation,certain thematic differences can be found in that foreign studies focus more on the themes of teacher education and education reform while domestic studies focus more on the theme of student loans.It is found that the popularity of student aid policy research at home and abroad is consistent with the changes in global economic and educational hotspots,but the hot content varies according to the goals of policy formulation.At present,domestic research has such limitations as narrow research fields,insufficient evaluation standardization and lack of research on action mechanisms.In the future,further research should be strength-ened in broadening research fields and building standardized evaluation tools and action mechanisms,thus help-ing enrich research results in the field of student financial aid policies.
