Dynamic Simulation and Analysis of Tapered Roller Bearing
Due to its higher capacity,the tapered roller bearing is widely used in gear transmission,construction machinery and other fields.Based on the finite element theory and explicit dynamic theory,the dynamic finite element simulation model of tapered roller bearing considering the contact impact of basket cage is established by using ANSYS/LS-DYNA simulation software.The dynamic response and dynamic stress of tapered roller bearing under different loading time and stable running are calculated and analyzed under the combined action of radial load and axial preload.The results show that tapered roller bearing rings,rolling body and basket type cage maintain linear velocity motion law similar to the sine curve,and that the cage has motion velocity fluctuations in a certain degree.At the start of the stage of acceleration,the tapered roller bearing has greater impact stress,steady speed driving linear rolling body and the basket type cage with larger stress fluctuations,thus affecting the stability and fatigue life of the cage.The simulation model and analysis results reflect the dynamic characteristics of the tapered roller bearings,and the dynamic contact impact between the rolling element and the cage.
