Optimization Analysis of Gold and Copper Recovery Test in Pyrite Cinder Washing Solution
The daily production of pyrite cinder washing solution is substantial and contains valuable elements such as gold and copper, demonstrating significant comprehensive recycling value. To recover these precious ele-ments from the acid pyrite cinder washing solution,a combined process of copper sulfide precipitation and micro-porous gold interception was employed.By conducting experiments and comparing the effects of different pH val-ues,Na2 S addition amounts, and precipitation times on the recovery of Cu2+and Au,the optimal conditions for sulfide precipitation were determined. The combined process test was carried out under the following conditions:washing solution pH of 4.5,Na2 S addition amount of 439.5 mg/L,precipitation time of 10 minutes, and a filter cloth with a pore size of 2 μm.Following the combined experiment, the Cu2+recovery rate was 99.84%,and the total Au recovery rate reached 96.36%,achieving efficient recovery of copper and gold elements from the wash-ing solution. This approach not only contributes to energy conservation and environmental protection but also holds substantial potential economic benefits.
