Chemical Characteristics and Genesis Analysis of Shallow Groundwater in Yanhe Town,Yuxi City
Yanhe Town is an industrial area in Yuxi City,Yunnan Province. The groundwater in the study area is polluted to varying degrees.Based on the experimental data of 43 sets of groundwater samples collected, the hydro-chemical types, composition characteristics, and controlling factors of the study area were analyzed using Schoeller classification combined with Piper trilinear diagram,Gibbs diagram,Gaillrdet hydrochemical model, correlation a-nalysis,and ion ratio coefficients. The results showed that the region is slightly alkaline, and the formation of groundwater cations is mainly influenced by water-rock interaction and evaporation. The formation of anions is mainly influenced by water-rock interaction. In shallow groundwater,Ca2+ is the most abundant cation, while HCO3- is the most abundant anion. The highest exceedance rate of major components in groundwater is cadmium, with a rate of 64.6%.The dominant hydrochemical type in the study area is HCO3-Ca·Mg.The main reason for the formation of this hydrochemical type is the dissolution of silicate rocks and carbonate rocks in this area.
