Teaching Quality Improvement Strategies for College Teachers in the Context of Building a Strong Educational Nation:A Hierarchical DEMATEL——Based Study
Building a strong educational nation has set new standards for the teaching quality of college teachers.Adhering to principles that emphasize the systematic nature of factor analysis, the scientific basis of factor identifi-cation,and the relevance of factor selection, this study initially categorized and identified factors influencing col-lege teachers'teaching quality across four dimensions:the school, teachers, students, and society.A total of 25 in-fluencing factors were recognized.Following this, the study proposed an identification method for key factors af-fecting teaching quality, based on the hierarchical DEMATEL approach. This method involves hierarchical decom-position,direct impact analysis, the construction of an super IDR(Initial Direct-Relation)matrix,and the iden-tification of key factors.Applying this method, five key factors were identified:teaching supervision and evalua-tion,course scheduling mechanisms, teaching content, learning attitudes, and socio-cultural values.Ultimately, strategies to improve the teaching quality of college teachers were proposed in conjunction with these key factors.
