Fatty acids are widely found in living organisms and are important nutrients and metabolites in living organisms,as well as one of the main energy sources of the organism.Fatty acid metabolism is closely related to bone remodeling and the development of osteoporosis,and its metabolic disorder may be one of the pathogenic mechanisms of osteoporosis.Therefore,we review the progress of research on the role of fatty acid metabolism in bone remodeling and osteoporosis.
