Progress of single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics in stomatology
The application of single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptome technology in life science field has been a hot research topic in recent years.By combining single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptome technology,it can reveal information on specific spatial location of cells at single-cell level to further investigate the mechanism of disease development and disease prevention and treat-ment.In the field of dentistry,it has been applied to the study on oral tissue stem cells,oral histogenesis and development,oral micro-biology and various oral diseases.This paper describes the progress of single-cell sequencing and spatial transcriptome technology in stomatology and looks into the prospect of their combined application,in order to provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of o-ral diseases.
