Oral foreign bodies are common in clinical treatment of oral and maxillofacial surgery.The most com-mon places for foreign bodies were gums,tongue,bottom of mouth,and upper pharynx.However,foreign bodies in the root of tongue are rare and may cause a series of complications.The foreign body of fishbone in tongue base removed by CBCT-assisted localization was reported in this case.
