Credit bank system is a kind of management system that quantifies,measures,stores and transforms different types of learning results,and the conversion process and results are recognized by the society.From the perspective of national education planning,the construction of credit bank system is a long-term goal and strategic task,which belongs to the important content of building a learning society.From the perspective of social practice,credit bank is a lifelong learning base that encourages learners to integrate and accumulate a lot.In all of the pilot credit banks in different regions or fields of education in China,the problem of low social response has been appeared.The practicability of two different types of credit banks in continuing education is observed from the perspective of learners,to proposed that credit banks should establish a collaborative governance model,build a standard system and standardized process with cooperative units,constantly improve the quality assurance system,and carry out a long-term investigation of learners'needs and experiences.The establishment of a credit recognition and learning outcome conversion mechanism based on self-study examination courses will enrich the learning outcome certification system in China and serve the lifelong learning system together with credit banks.
