Setting Teaching Objectives for Nursing English in Vocational Education Based on Need Analysis,Curriculum Standards and China's Standards of English Language Ability
With the acceleration of economic globalization and the internationalization of medical education,the demand for international nursing talents has become more professional and diversified.Nursing English is the cornerstone of cultivating international foreign-related nursing talents with"medical proficiency","solid foreign language"and"noble medical ethics".Taking the problems in the setting of nursing English teaching objectives as the entry point,with ESP course demand analysis,curriculum standards and China English Proficiency Scale as the theoretical basis,this paper constructs the NSS teaching objective setting model.The"Hospitalization"Unit in higher vocational nursing English course is taken as an example to illustrate the implementation process of this model,in order to provide reference for nursing English teaching.
