The occurrence state of Ag in the Nandangchang Ag-polymetallic deposit in the southeastern Yunnan
The Nandangchang silver-lead-zinc deposit is located in the southwestern part of the Laojunshan ore-concentrated area in the southeastern Yunnan. The veining orebodies are mainly distributed in the F1 faulting structural belt.Five kinds of independent silver minerals are identified in this deposit. They include canfieldite, stromeyerite, polybasite, argentite and pyrargyrite.Galena is the main silver-bearing mineral in this deposit, with silver, antimony and bismuth concentrations varying from 203×10-6 to 8460×10-6,from 2.43×106 to 1165×10-6,and from 0.04×10-6 to 18 479×10-6,respectively.Ag was incorporated into the lattice of galena by coupled substitution of Ag++(Bi,Sb)3+←→2Pb2+.Based on the comprehensive analysis of geological and geochemical characteristics of the Nandangchang Ag-polymetallic deposit,it is preliminarily concluded that the deposit belongs to the intermediate-sulfidation epithermal silver deposit.
