同位素非质量依赖分馏效应在地球和行星科学、环境科学、生态学等多个研究领域均有广泛应用.本文围绕同位素非质量依赖分馏研究的发展历史、现状和问题,聚焦多氧多硫同位素,简要综述了同位素非质量依赖分馏的基本原理,以及地外样品、现代大气和冰芯样品、深时地质样品的同位素非质量依赖分馏现象,并探讨了该领域的发展前景.本文旨在为对该领域感兴趣的我国青年学者提供入门参考资料.
Mass-independent fractionation of oxygen and sulfur isotopes
Measurements of chemically induced mass-independent isotope fractionation(MIF)signatures in natural samples have been leading to many new findings in a wide range of research areas including Earth and planetary sciences,environmental sciences,and ecology.Here,I briefly introduce the history of this research field with a focus on multiple oxygen and sulfur isotopes.I critically review and discuss our current understanding of the fundamental MIF theory and MIF signatures in both terrestrial and extraterrestrial systems.This review aims to provide an introductory reference for students and early-career scientists interested in this field.
