太空找矿作为一个新兴的矿产资源勘探方向,不仅是缓解地球不可再生资源枯竭危机的重要途径,也为人类开展可持续深空探测提供了物质基础,已成为多国深空探测活动的重要目标.基于地球矿产勘探的经验和太空探测的成果,人类对太空找矿的认识已经有了诸多重要进展.然而,太空找矿仍处于初级阶段,未来需要着力于提升太空找矿的基础理论和工程技术,以提高勘探效率和降低成本.本文梳理了国际太空找矿的发展历史与现状,提出了未来太空找矿需要优先考虑或重点勘查的区域和目标,并探讨了太空找矿面临的挑战与机遇,以期推动太空矿产资源的可持续开发和利用.
A review of space ore prospecting:a new direction for exploring mineral resources
Space ore prospecting,as an emerging direction in mineral resource exploration,not only serves as a crucial approach to alleviating the crisis of depletion of Earth's non-renewable resources but also provides the material foundation for sustainable deep space exploration by humanity.It has become a significant objective of deep space exploration activities for multiple countries.Based on the experience of terrestrial mineral exploration and the achievements of space exploration,humanity's understanding of space ore prospecting has made numerous important advancements.However,space ore prospecting is still in its nascent stage,and future efforts need to focus on enhancing the fundamental theories and engineering technologies of space ore prospecting to improve exploration efficiency and reduce costs.This paper reviews the historical development and current status of international space ore prospecting,identifies regions and targets that should be prioritized or focused on in future space ore prospecting efforts,and discusses the challenges and opportunities faced by space ore prospecting,with the aim of promoting the sustainable development and utilization of space mineral resources.
