An Examination of Cognitive Biases in Anthropomorphic Robots from the Perspective of Differance
The study of anthropomorphism was originally within the realm of psychology and cognitive science. As anthropomorphic psychology is applied to the design of anthropomorphic robots, where cognitive biases are prone to ethical risks, philosophical approaches are considered to help clarify the conditions for their applications, and the issue of cognitive biases in anthropomorphic robots becomes a comprehensive study in a multidisciplinary context.Unlike psychology and cognitive science, which take the universal existence of anthropomorphic mental mechanisms as the object and premise of study, philosophy takes concepts and methods as the first object of study. This paper takes the differance of"anthropomorphis"and its related concepts as a clue to provide different perspectives for un-derstanding"anthropomorphism","anthropomorphic robots"and"reverse-anthropomorphism",with a view to promoting interdisciplinary theoretical appreciation of this issue and the positive development of anthropomorphic ro-bots in practice.
