Ethical Risk and Ideological Debate of Emerging Animal Enhancement Technology
Under the background of human enhancement,new emerging animal enhancement technology is starting to occur.Based on the review,analysis and research of academic literatures,the article prioritizes a series of ethi-cal risks that may arise from emerging animal enhancement technology,and selects three ethical risks that cause moral confusion,threaten human dignity and damage animal welfare as the research objects.This paper presents a fierce ideological debate between scientists and ethicists concerning these predictable ethical risks,and cites some of the main arguments that each side has put forward for the purpose of refutation in the controversy.
