The Value of Knowledge:Sosa's and Zagzebski's Solutions to the Meno Problem
Why is knowledge more valuable than mere true belief? This is known as the"Meno Problem."Both Sosa and Zagzebski have addressed the Meno Problem, with their solutions differing and causing debates between them.I argue that neither of their solutions is acceptable,as Sosa's solution is contradictory and Zagzebski's solu-tion is based on a false assumption, namely the organic unity theory of knowledge.I propose a new solution, which is based on a view called Veritism,to the Meno Problem. This solution can avoid the problems present in Sosa's and Zagzebski's solutions.
