Preliminary Study of Response to Karst Desertification Environmental Change for Cave Drip Water
To explore environmental change in karst desertification area by cave drips' indicators, the monitoring was continuously carried on 16 drip points in 2 caves for 1 year in Yunfeng Tunpu,Anshun City. The data was obtained by current and previous field monitoring.By making an analogy between temporal and spatial variation,it was concluded that cave drip water which in karst desertification area of lime dolomite, its drip rate,COND,pH and Ca2+ are able to serve as response indicators to karst desertification's degree preliminarily;there isn't anomalous characteristic as " high in rainy season and low in dry season" for pH value in intense karst desertification area,so that the seasonal variation of pH isn't able to reflect the environmental change of karst desertification;both of the larger drip rate and decreasing pH value reflect gradually increase of karst desertification degree in Yunfeng Tupu, and the increase of COND and Ca2+ shows that heavy rainfall and agricultural activities has caused karst desertification more seriously. It is practicable for some physical and chemical indicators of drip water to be as underground index to monitor the surface environment, monitoring in long period is necessary to explicit the relationship between drip water information and karst desertification environment.
