Analysis of Autumn Thermal Comfort Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Elderly People in Urban Parks in Cold Regions
In order to further clarify the characteristics and influencing factors of autumn thermal comfort for elderly people in urban parks in cold areas,by combining the methods of microclimate measurement and thermal comfort investigation, comparing with non-elderly people, the relationship between outdoor thermal sensation and thermal comfort of elderly people was analyzed, and the evaluation criteria of thermal comfort for elderly people were defined from three aspects of thermoneutral physiological equivalent temperature(PET),PET range satisfying 80%of thermal acceptability and preferred PET.The influence characteristics of microclimate factors on the thermal comfort of elderly people were also explored. The results show that in the urban parks of cold areas in autumn, comparing with non-elderly people, the elderly have stronger heat tolerance and weaker cold tolerance. The thermoneutral PET for the elderly is 8.3 ℃,while that for non-elderly people is 11.5 ℃.The acceptable PET range is 3.2~28.0 ℃ for the elderly, while it is 4.9~24.3 ℃ for non-elderly people. The preferred PET is 25.8 ℃ for the elderly and 24.2℃ for non-elderly people. The degree of influence of each microclimate factor on the thermal sensation of the elderly is from large to small:globe temperature, wind speed, and relative humidity.
