Fine Saturation Evaluation of Tight Glutenite Reservoirs Based on Multi-parameter Variable Cementation Index Modeling:A Case Study of Wuerhe Formation in Junggar Basin
In order to solve the problem that the Archie's formula is inaccurate in calculating the saturation of tight glutenite reservoirs, the glutenite reservoir of Wuerhe Formation in Junggar Basin was taken as the research object.Based on the experimental data of rock electricity, porosity, permeability, particle size and casting thin section, the influence factors of pore structure, porosity, median particle size and clay content on the cementation index were analyzed. Then, various parameters were characterized based on theoretical analysis and logging response characteristics. The quantitative evaluation model for the variable cementation index was ultimately established by multi-parameter regression fitting. This method is based on conventional logging data and comprehensively considers various factors that affect the cementation index. It can also be well applied in wells without special data, and has the advantages of high applicability and precision. The reservoir interpretation and evaluation were conducted in the glutenite section of exploration wells in the study area, and the results were compared with the saturation of the sealed coring. The results show that the model can effectively improve the calculation accuracy of glutenite reservoir saturation in the study area, and has good application effects in exploration well interpretation and reserve calculation.
