Comprehensive Evaluation of Gas Bearing Properties of Carboniferous Benxi Formation Tight Sandstone Reservoir in Central and Eastern Ordos Basin
The tight sandstone of the Carboniferous Benxi Formation in the central and eastern Ordos Basin has fine grain size,high shaliness content,low porosity and extremely poor permeability,which makes it difficult to interpret its gas content in logging.Based on laboratory analysis data,focusing on the application of imaging logging data such as nuclear magnetic resonance,array acoustic waves,and array induction,combined with conventional logging,a gas bearing logging evaluation method for the Benxi Formation fine-grained tight sandstone reservoir was established using four categories and seven methods.The effective identification of reservoir gas bearing was comprehensively carried out using logging data.The study shows that the comprehensive application of conventional and imaging logging provides a more effective way for the comprehensive evaluation of gas bearing capacity of fine tight sandstone reservoir in Benxi Formation.It is of great theoretical significance and application value to study the comprehensive evaluation method of gas bearing property of fine grained tight sandstone reservoir in Benxi Formation.
