Air Cargo Network Scheduling Optimization Model Based on Cargo Demand Constraints
The efficient scheduling of air cargo networks is of great research significance for reducing operational costs and impro-ving service efficiency.A comprehensive air cargo network scheduling model was constructed that integrates aircraft route selection, cargo transportation path planning, and flight scheduling. The primary objective was to minimize operational costs while satisfying rele-vant operational constraints. To ensure the applicability of the model, the design of the constraints was refined, focusing on the selec-tion of transportation modes, differences in cargo types, and the impact of order cancellation costs on flight scheduling.By testing simulated order demand data for one week from Air China Cargo, extensive exploration into the influence of cargo types on the value of the objective function within the constraints was undertaken.Additionally, handling efficiency between two different cargo airlines for the same orders was compared and their operational performance differences at different airports were further analyzed. The model is solved using commercial planning solvers from operations research, and the test results show that an optimal solution can be found in a relatively short time with this comprehensive scheduling model, providing new perspectives and methods for research in the field of air cargo transportation.
