Diversified Approaches of Science Education under the"Double Reduction"Policy:Practice and Enlightenment of Science Education in American Museums
Museums play a unique role in primary and secondary school science education by means of unique resources different from schools.The introduction of the"Double Reduction"policy supports museums to expand science education channels to meet students'diverse needs in terms of scientific interest,confidence in scientific practice,and willingness to pursue a scientific career.This paper analyzes the advanced experience of American museums in the field of science education in order to provide some suggestions for problems and deficiencies in museum science education activities at present.
