Exploring the Application System and Prospect of Metaverse Technology in Museum Exhibition
Exhibition is a direct bridge connecting collections and audiences,and is the core business of museums.As metaverse technologies such as blockchain,extended reality,digital twins and so on begin to integrate with the museum business,empowering exhibitions through technology has become a development trend.Based on the three technical application objects of exhibits,audience and space in the museum exhibition,this paper focuses on the four technical application modes of basic guarantee,comprehensive perception,content generation and planning,and interconnection and fusion,constructs the metaverse technology application system of museum exhibition,provides a reference for the application of metaverse technology in the construction of exhibition.On this basis,the paper explores the development prospect of the emergence of new exhibits,new scenes and new forms of museum exhibitions under the intervention of metaverse technology.
