基于创新采用的分析框架,从创新的相对性出发,提出了一种同时满足创新的内部特征和外部特征的颠覆性技术识别方法.首先,分别使用BERTopic主题模型、专利信息挖掘技术获取新技术功能、不连续的技术标准,识别颠覆性技术的创新内部特征;其次,使用CD指数衡量专利的颠覆性潜力,识别颠覆性技术的创新外部特征;然后,识别出同时满足创新内部和外部特征的颠覆性技术,划分出新市场、低端和高端的颠覆性技术;最后,以储能领域专利为例,验证识别方法的可行性和有效性.该方法能将颠覆性技术的定义与识别进行匹配,体现出技术创新和市场采纳的相互作用,区分不同类型的颠覆性技术,为企业确定一项新技术是否产生颠覆性影响提供了参考.
At the critical juncture of a new round of industrial revolution and scientific and technological revolution,it is vital for enter-prises to rapid identify and deploy the potentially disruptive technologies in order to build sustained innovation competitiveness.Because technological innovation is by nature a continuous and endogenous selection and adoption process,the identification of disruptive tech-nologies needs to be advanced in a continuous innovation process.Innovation adoption theory holds that innovation is a new idea,tech-nology or practice that needs to go through a series of steps to be successfully adopted and implemented by enterprises,and emphasizes that innovation is a relative concept and whether it is adopted is relative.In this regard,based on the analytical framework of innovation adoption,this study integrates the identification and definition of disruptive technologies from the perspective of the relativity of innova-tion,deconstructs the innovation process of disruptive technologies and the process of market disruption,and embodies the interplay be-tween technological innovation and market adoption,so as to identify disruptive technologies with different needs.Firstly,using BER-topic model and patent information mining techniques to obtain new technology functions and discontinuous technology standards in a phased manner to identify the internal characteristics of innovation of disruptive technologies;secondly,using the CD index to measure the disruptive potential of patents to identify the external characteristics of innovation of disruptive technologies;and finally,a method is constructed to identify disruptive technologies based on the internal and external characteristics of innovation,and technologies that satisfy both the internal and external characteristics of innovation are considered disruptive technologies,and disruptive technologies are categorized into new market disruptive technologies,low-end disruptive technologies,and high-end disruptive technologies.In order to test the feasibility of the identification method,this paper uses the patents in the energy storage field as an example.The identifica-tion process of disruptive technologies in energy storage is analyzed step by step according to the technical functions and technical standards of the internal features of the innovations,and the calculation of the CD index of the external features of the innovation.Ex-amples are also given to illustrate the identification process of different disruptive technologies.In addition,the technological advance-ment index and the Incopat value index are used to further verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the identification method proposed in this paper.Notably,in the energy storage industry,technological innovation and market application pay different attention to techni-cal standards,and technical standard innovation is easier to realize than technical function innovation.This paper introduces the per-spective of innovation adoption and combines the innovation characteristics and market value of disruptive technology,which enriches the theory of disruptive technology identification.Taking the field of energy storage as an example,this paper proposes a valuable meth-od which could distinguish different types of disruptive technology,to identify disruptive technology through the combination of technol-ogy innovation and market adoption.Moreover,the identification method in this paper advances the prediction of disruptive innovation to the stage of technology identification,achieve pre-analysis to a certain extent,and identify which type of technology will lead to changes in the market in the future,providing a reference for enterprises to determine whether a new technology has a disruptive im-pact.This paper not only makes up for the traditional deficiency from the single perspective to explore the issue of disruptive technology identification,but also provides a new insight for disruptive technology emerging and diffusion.The conclusion has also important en-lightenment for the disruptive innovation strategy of Chinese enterprises and the construction of scientific and technological powerhouse of China.
