Research on the Influence of Intelligent Level of Digital Empowerment Manufacturing Industry:Mediating Effect of Technological Innovation Capability
In recent years,China has made some progress in the construction of intelligent transformation of manufac-turing industry,but compared with the development status quo of Europe and the United States,China's manufacturing in-dustry has a series of problems such as network construction deployment ahead of time and the manufacturing process dig-italization is insufficient,and the manufacturing industry as a whole is in the middle and low end of the world,etc.How to empower the manufacturing industry and improve the level of manufacturing industry's intelligent level has become the key to promote the high-quality development of the economy.Digital empowerment has a disruptive impact on the manu-facturing industry to improve the value creation model and promote the intelligent manufacturing paradigm.The study aims to explore the mechanism of the impact of digital empowerment on the enhancement of manufacturing intelligence,specifically,based on the research perspective of the integration of information service industry and manufacturing indus-try,to answer the question of how the two forms of digital empowerment,digital hardware facilities and digital software services,have an impact on the intelligence of the manufacturing industry?What is the mediating role of technological in-novation capability between digital empowerment and manufacturing intelligence?Firstly,based on the intelligence of manufacturing production application layer,the theoretical mechanism of digital empowerment on the four dimensions of manufacturing product,service,equipment and management intelligence is ana-lyzed from the aspects of digital hardware facilities and digital software services.Secondly,based on the input-output ta-ble of 30 provinces in China,the impact of digital empowerment on the intelligence level of manufacturing industry is ex-amined by using the fixed effect model,and the intermediary role of technological innovation ability is the mediating role of technological innovation capability is also explored.Digital empowerment has a significant promotion effect on the level of manufacturing intelligence,in which digital hardware facilities have a significant promotion effect on manufacturing product intelligence and equipment intelligence,digital software services have a significant promotion effect on manufacturing product intelligence and equipment intelli-gence,and there is a significant negative effect on service intelligence.Digital hardware facilities and digital software ser-vices have a significant positive effect on the technological innovation capacity of the manufacturing industry.Technologi-cal innovation capacity has a significant positive effect on the overall manufacturing industry;and technological innova-tion capacity has a significant positive effect on the overall manufacturing industry.The positive impact of technological innovation ability on the overall level of manufacturing intelligence is significant,and the conclusion is still reliable after the endogeneity test.Technological innovation ability plays a mediating role between digital empowerment and the level of manufacturing intelligence,which is specifically manifested in the fact that digital hardware facilities influence the en-hancement of the level of manufacturing product and equipment intelligence through the technological innovation ability,and the digital software services can enhance the level of manufacturing product and equipment intelligence through the technological innovation ability.Digital software services can improve the level of manufacturing products and equipment intelligence through technology innovation capability,and improve the level of manufacturing services intelligence through technology innovation capability.The theoretical mechanism and specific impacts of digital empowerment on the level of manufacturing intelligence are examined.The research insights are as follows.First,in the process of promoting the level of manufacturing intelli-gence,regions should not only strengthen the investment in digital software services such as new-generation information technology,but also pay attention to the important role of basic hardware facilities in the development of manufacturing in-telligence.Second,manufacturing enterprises are encouraged to actively carry out R&D and innovation activities in order to enhance the overall technological innovation capacity of the manufacturing industry,and to play the important role of technological innovation in the development of manufacturing intelligence.
