Experimental study on beneficiation of a low-grade lead zinc sulfide ore in Yunnan
A low-grade lead-zinc sulfide mine in Yunnan contains 0.42％Pb and 0.39％Zn.Its mineral composition is complex,including galena,cerussite,sphalerite,and zinc oxide.This study applies a lead-zinc mixed flotation tailing and lead-zinc separation beneficiation process to recover and utilize it.The results indicate that Pb concentrate with 70.34％grade and 84.06％recovery,along with Zn concentrate with 45.74％grade and 80.65％recovery,can be achieved using this processing route.
