Experimental study on flotation recovery of a low-grade porphyry copper mine in Yunnan
A large porphyry copper deposit in Yunnan has a copper grade of 0.32%,accompanied by molybdenum, and has comprehensive recovery value. The comprehensive recovery of metals such as copper and molybdenum from ore is achieved through a process of one rough selection, two fine selections, and two sweeping selections.Systematically study the effects of process parameters such as raw ore grinding fineness, coarse concentrate regrinding fineness, collectors, inhibitors, types and amounts of foaming agents on copper recovery, and examine the recovery of associated metals such as molybdenum, gold, and silver. The results showed that the collector PLC and frother HCLL had good effects on copper flotation recovery.Under the optimal parameter conditions of-0.075 mm fineness in the original ore grinding,65%in the coarse concentrate regrinding,90%in the coarse concentrate regrinding,120 g/t collector PL-307,300 g/t inhibitor lime, and 20 g/t foaming agent HCLL,a closed circuit test was conducted to obtain beneficiation indicators with a yield of 1.23%,a copper grade of 22.84%,and a recovery rate of 87.79%.The copper concentrate product contained 0.398%molybdenum Gold is 4.33 g/t,silver is 62.50 g/,with a molybdenum recovery rate of 71.99%,gold recovery rate of 66.57%,and silver recovery rate of 14.48%.The accompanying metals molybdenum and gold have also been well recovered, with good separation indicators.
