Effect of sintering temperature on W-type ferrite absorber
Ferrites were prepared using the oxide method with strontium carbonate(SrCO3),zinc oxide(ZnO),cobalt trioxide(Co3O4),and iron oxide(Fe2O3)as raw materials.The effects of sintering temperature on the phase composition,microstructure,particle size and porosity,intrinsic coercivity Hcj,saturation magnetization Ms and electromagnetic parameters of W-type ferrite absorbent were studied.The results show that W-type ferrite is not formed when the sintering temperature is 1 125 ℃.When the sintering temperature is 1 175 ℃,lamellar W-type ferrite is formed.At 1 225 ℃ and 1 275 ℃,the prepared W-type ferrite absorbent shows better absorbing properties.
