"本""体"变奏:理学思维转型及其哲学史意义
On the Variations from Root(Ben本)to Original Substance(Ti体):The Transformation of Neo-Confucianism Thinking and Its Significance in Philosophical History

摘要
魏晋以前中国本土哲学以"本末"思维为主要致思路径,这在解决"经验的存在之先"问题上简洁有效,但有难以克服的理论困难.对此,玄学与佛教都做了许多探索,"体用"思维逐渐确立起来,对超越之"体"的追问代替了对经验之"本"的探寻.不过,佛教"体用论"因其非实在性而与世间、人伦难以兼容,这给理学留下了继续探索的空间.宋代早期理学家集中展现了思维转型的理论自觉,其"体用"之"体",一方面较"本末"之"本"更具超越性,另一方面又较佛教之"体"更具实在性,一种既超越又实在的"体用"思维逐渐形成.早期理学家各具特色的思维转型的努力是理学得以产生的核心动力,也促成了中国古代哲学第一次大型范式转换.
Abstract
Before the Wei and Jin Dynasties,Chinese local philosophy mainly focused on the path of"Root-Branch"(本末)thinking,which was concise and effective in solving the problem of the existence of experience,but there were theoretical difficulties that were difficult to overcome.In this regard,both Dark Learning and Buddhism have made many explorations,and the"Substance-Function"(体用)thinking has gradually been established.Therefore,the questioning of the existence of transcendence has replaced the exploration of the existence of experience.However,the non-reality of Buddhism's"Substance-Function"theory is difficult to be compatible with the world and human relationships,leaving room for further exploration in Neo-Confucianism.In the early Song Dynasty,Neo-Confucians concentrated on demonstrating the theoretical consciousness of thinking transformation.On the one hand,the"Substance"of the"Substance-Function"thinking was more transcendent than the"Root"of the"Root-Branch"thinking,and on the other hand,it was more realistic than the"Substance"of Buddhism.A new type of"Substance-Function"thinking that was both transcendent and practical gradually formed.The unique thinking transformation efforts of early Neo-Confucians were the core driving force behind the emergence of Neo-Confucianism,and also contributed to the first large-scale paradigm transformation in ancient Chinese philosophy.
