摘要
荀子的政治正当性理论涉及国家的证成与君主权力的正当两个方面的内容."礼"这一概念在荀子思想中属于证成性而非正当性范畴,以"礼"为核心和中介,一方面,荀子的政治哲学解决了政治国家存在的必要性问题,即实现了对政治国家的证成;另一方面,荀子通过假定人性恶进而使人做人使命的完成不得不依赖于礼义、君师等外部条件,由于礼义又是由圣王制作的,故而圣王(君主)的统治便是正当的.在讨论国家证成性问题的过程中,君主专制权力的正当性被荀子极大地凸显出来.
Abstract
Xunzi's political legitimacy theory encompasses two aspects:the justification of the state and the legitimation of the monarch's power.For Xunzi,the concept of"rite"belongs to the category of justification rather than legitimacy.Through"rite",Xunzi's political philosophy addresses the necessity of the political state,thus achieving the justification of the political state.In addition,by positing the evil nature of human being,Xunzi makes the realization of human essence relying on"rite and morality",the monarch and teacher.Since"rite and morality"was created by"sage king",the rule of the"sage king'(monarch)is therefore legitimate.During the discussion of the justification of the state,the legitimacy of the monarch's autocratic power is greatly highlighted by Xunzi.
