"人化的社会科学":潘光旦人文史观与儒学结合路径研究

摘要
在中国近代学术史上,潘光旦先生的贡献——无论优生学还是人文思想,均未能得到应有的重视,而成为"社会学中国化"书写史上被严重低估的一位学者.事实上,潘光旦发现儒家思想蕴含着社会生物学的影响因子,且早已达到相当的学理高度,双方在义理上实现初步会通.以《中庸》"位育"之道为核心,他对被误读的"进化论"予以厘清与延展,削弱了"进化论"中的竞争存亡色彩,增加了"和合共生"的理念.在看到儒家思想的弊窦浸润家庭的同时,试图保留其"推爱"的可取之处,倡导折中大小家制,避免其被粗暴放逐的命运.他对儒家核心观念"伦"进行解构与创构,传统儒学在文化生物学观的检验下焕发了新生命.社会科学本土化的最终目的并非儒学化,但是社会科学中国化却一定要处理好与儒学的关系,这乃成败之所在.
Abstract
In modern Chinese history,Pan Guangdan's academic contributions,whether in eugenics or humanistic thought,have failed to receive the due attention they deserve,making him a seriously underestimated scholar in the history of Sinicization of Sociology.In fact,Pan Guangdan discovered that Confucianism contains influential factors of social biology and has long reached a considerable level of scholarly depth,with both sides converging conceptually.Centering on the Weiyu principle in The Doctrine of the Mean,he clarified and extended the misread Theory of Evolution,weakening the competitive and survival-of-the-fittest aspect of the theory and adding the concept of harmonious coexistence.While recognizing the flaws of Confucianism that permeate families,he attempted to preserve its redeeming feature of extending love,advocating a compromise between the extended and nuclear family systems to avoid the fate of being brutally exiled from society.He deconstructed and reconstructed the core Confucian concept of ethics,rejuvenating traditional Confucianism under the scrutiny of cultural biology.The ultimate goal of the localization of social sciences is not Confucianization,but the Sinicization of Sociology requires handle its relationship with Confucianism well,which is the key to success or failure.
