The research progress of Tibetan herb Lamiophlomis rotata in pharmacognostics, appraisal of quality, status of resources and chemical components was reviewed, and the research direction in future was put forward.Tibetan herb Lamiophlomis rotata was applied abroad, has obvious curative effect with a good development foreground.Substance basis and mechanism of action for the analgesic effect and hemostasis remains to be further study.
