Application of ultrasound in the diagnosis of complications of Crohn's disease
The complications of Crohn's disease mainly include stenosis,intestinal fistula and abscess,which bring great pain to patients.Especially,intestinal fistula and fibrous stenosis is the main indication for surgery.Early diagnosis and intervention are helpful in changing the long-term clinical outcome of Crohn's disease.As a real-time,economical,simple and effective examination method,ultrasound plays an important role in the di-agnosis of Crohn's disease.Moreover,the development of various ultrasound techniques has also brought more positive effects to the diagnosis of its complications.This article reviewed the application of various techniques of ultrasound in the diagnosis of complication of Crohn's diseases.
