Research progress on plasma arteriosclerosis index and triglyc-eride glucose index in the pathogenesis of acute ischemic stroke
Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol is the main lipid component of acute ischemic stroke caused by atherosclerosis. However, some people may still have a higher risk of cardiovascular events under stan-dardized lipid-lowering treatment, indicating that a single blood lipid index is not enough to describe mixed dyslipidemia. This article summarized the research progress of the plasma atherosclerosis index used to quantify an individual's comprehensive blood lipid level and the triglyceride glucose index that reflects the degree of insulin resistance and the pathogenesis of acute ischemic stroke,in order to provide a reference for early intervention into acute ischemic stroke.
