Advances in the study of the cytotoxicity of eremophilane sesquiterpene compounds in Ligularia Cass.(Asteraceae)
Eremophilane sesquiterpene is a double-ring sesquiterpene composed of 15 carbon atoms, mainly extracted from Ligularia, and has anti-tumor,antibacterial,anti-inflammatory and other biological activities. The basic structure types of irimofen alkane sesquiterpenes mainly include a lactone ring, dimer, furan ring, carbon reduction type and C19.In this paper, the structures and potential cytotoxicity of irimofenane sesqui-terpenes were reviewed, and the effects of specific known chemical structures on the anti-tumor activity were described,in order to provide reference for the study of their anti-tumor clinical therapeutic effects.
