目的 采用文献计量学的方法可视化分析干细胞在特发性肺纤维化(IPF)领域的相关文献,探讨该领域的研究热点和不足。方法 在Web of Science核心集数据库检索2003-2022年收录的干细胞在IPF领域相关文献,通过VOS-viewer 1。6。19和Citespace 6。2。R4软件对文献进行年发文量、国家/地区、机构、作者、期刊分布等方面的分析。同时还进行关键词共现分析和文献共被引分析。结果 共纳入文献637篇,此领域年发文量呈稳步增长态势,发文量最多的国家/地区是美国,发文量最多的机构是匹兹堡大学,发文量最多的作者有3位,分别是Geiser Thomas、Han Xiaodong和Ro-jas Mauricio,核心共被引作者是Noble Paul W,发表文献最多的期刊是American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine。热点分析结果显示,2018年以来干细胞治疗IPF的研究热点主要集中在发病机制、间充质干细胞(MSCs)的治疗潜力以及新药研发等。结论 干细胞在IPF领域的研究数量逐年增长;参与该领域研究的作者和机构众多,但高产作者和机构相对较少,因此需要加强不同作者、机构、地区及国家间的合作。热点分析结果显示干细胞治疗为IPF患者提供了一种很有前景的治疗方式,但临床应用中仍有一些问题亟须解决,例如确定干细胞的最佳来源、干细胞移植途径、干细胞移植次数和时间以及适当的干细胞移植间隔等以评估干细胞治疗IPF的可行性。
Research hotspots on stem cells in the field of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis:A visual analysis
Objective To visually analyze literature related to stem cells in the field of IPF using bibliometrics,identify the research hotspots and shortcomings in this field.Methods The Web of Science core collection was used to conduct a comprehensive literature search on stem cells in the field of IPF from 2003 to 2022.The obtained data was visually analyzed by VOSviewer 1.6.19 and Citespace 6.2.R4 software,enabling an explo-ration of publication trends across different years,countries/regions,institutions,authors and journals.Addi-tionally,a co-occurrence analysis of keywords and citation analysis were performed.Results A total of 637 ar-ticles were included,and the annual publications in this field exhibited a consistent upward trend.The US emerged as the leading contributor with the highest number of articles,while the University of Pittsburgh stood out as the most productive institution.The top three authors with the largest number of articles were Geiser Thomas,Han Xiaodong and Rojas Mauricio.Noble Paul W was identified as the most cited author.The American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine was the most prominent journal for publi-cations.Analysis of research trends had revealed a shift in focus towards stem cell therapy for IPF after 2018,highlighting investigations into mechanisms,therapeutic potentials of MSCs,and new drugs.Conclusion The number of studies on stem cells in the field of IPF had been gradually increasing.There were numerous au-thors and institutions involved in this field of research,but relatively few high-yield ones.Therefore,it's neces-sary to strengthen collaboration between different authors,institutions,regions,and countries.The results of a hotspot analysis indicated that stem cell therapy offered a promising intervention for IPF patients.Howev-er,there were still issues in clinical application that need to be addressed,such as determining the optimal source of stem cells,the route and frequency of stem cell transplantation,as well as appropriate intervals be-tween transplantations.These factors were crucial in assessing the feasibility of stem cell therapy for IPF.
