Objective To explore the distribution and regularity of disease spectrum of young male inpatients in the urology department of Grade A hospital in plateau area,and to provide disease prevention and treatment suggestions for young male patients in those places.Methods The medical records of 2 495 young male inpa-tients in the urology department of this hospital from 2019 to 2023 were collected.According to the interna-tional classification of diseases,changes in disease spectrum were compared from age distribution,statistical cases and proportion of diseases.Results Urinary calculi,varicocele and genitourinary infection were the top 3 diseases in the hospitalized young men,and the total number of annual incidence accounted for more than 60%of the total disease composition in that year.Conclusions In view of the high incidence of young male genitourinary system diseases,relevant active preventive measures should be taken for different ages,environ-ments,and corresponding disease characteristics,so as to strengthen medical security,safeguard people's health and fully promote the strategy of a healthy China.
